The team generated millions of parameterised scenarios in simulation — varying weather, occlusion, and agent behaviour — and ran the perception-and-planning stack against them.

Failure modes that would have taken months to encounter on the road surfaced in days, letting engineers fix them before committing to expensive physical testing.
